About Me

I was born in December 1958, in Edinburgh, Scotland right next door to the Zoo. You could probably hear the chimpanzees and monkeys screaming from there. I was weaned on a steady diet of Doctor Who starting from the 1st Doctor in 1963. My brother (who has the most vivid imagination) convinced me as a small child that gorillas had escaped from the zoo, hidden in the Corstorphine Woods near our house and wanted nothing more than to strangle young boys to death. They apparently killed and skinned the sheep that grazed in the fields by the woods and disguised themselves by wearing the sheep skins, waiting for young boys like me to innocently walk by and get pounced upon and strangled.

That and more adventures as a child may account for why I am a little strange.

Just so you know.

P.S. I’m still watching Doctor Who – and the Daleks STILL scare the shit out of me.

P.P.S – I have another blog called Globespotter where I may expound on things that bug me, and how we can make the world a better place, but this blog is an uncensored, sometimes irreverent, always politically incorrect and off the wall stream of random thoughts that just pop into my strange brain everyday. So while Globespotter may be more useful, this blog will be more fun. Think of it like Shit my Dad Says – only my Dad is not saying it – I am.
